Nice work gonza. Really like this one. I think it's perfect for early in a set. What did you use for the bassline?

What do you use to master gonza? I can never get my tunes sounding that clear & crisp.

before i heard your track i though "2 days", LOL, i only get a bassline in two days but you have seemed to manage a decent track in the timeframe.

:)

-> Nice bass man, very scot projecty!
-> I also like the stabs, u can tell you're a scot project fan, that's ok, i'm using that in my latest track too.
-> At last someone on the forum that makes music of my EXTACT genre, well maybe just a bit softer
-> I really like your melodies gonza, puts u in the mood for some dancing in your own zone which is really what hardtrance s about
-> The kicking after that break sounds cool dude, ahh now there's some percussion, but still needs a bit more energy in it.

:(

-> Percussion is lagging BAD, sorry I had to say it, I could barely here it. If SP is your favourite then you have to look into your percussion a lot, he spends many hours on percussion

CONCLUSION

I think you bassline does it for you, it's really cool. I can hear a lot of scot's influences in your tracks, which is cool, as long as along the way you find your own sound, but I still believe there's a lot of you in the track. That section at 2:20 with just the kick and bass rocks. I could rock to this def!! good work mate. Did you really make this in two days? So the bass is made in Vangaurd, I got Vanguard, that's pretty juiced bassline!

I master it in fruity while I make the track.

Tha kaya for your opinien. Yeh, two days ^^
The percussion thing seems weird : \ How do you mean? Is it too low?

Kaya

two things

first, the level of the percussion, but I don't think it's the level, the level seems ok, I think it's the eq of the percussion, i think they're lagging a bit on the high end keeping them further away in the mix thus giving a sense of lower level. Adding a bit on the high end of the scale will bring them "more in your face" kinda feel.

Plus the time u have put into the percussion. It seems you have put all ur effort into the melodies. Percussion is just as important, no less, than melodies, and that is not portrayed in your track. Some tracks are distinguished by their percussion, just by hearing the percussion you can tell which dj it is, that's how much they have put into it. By listening to your percussion, it's doesn't sound distinguisable at all. No sounds in it say "ahh that's that track by the dj, gonza", you know what I mean.

Give another listen to Arome " Hands Up (Scot Project Remix) and give a listen to the percussion only.

Cheers mate, good track :)

Most synths are good if you spend a little time programming them. Vanguard is quite powerful imo.....still cant believe you made that bassline with it though. Awesome.

So here's my opinion:

you have done a very nice track, with a groovy & fat bassline, the glide is superb!

Good work on the mélo!

But like kaya says, where's is the percussions? the track could be more energetic!!

And another thing, the volume synth is too low IMO!

Finally i think this track a very good potential, but you have to put more work on it!

Listeners have to feel a climax!;)
