I've realized that there is no info about Yoji in the last month... his website is "abandonated" and nothing about future gigs except one at the end of the year.

I've listen to some samples of his last CD mix, and well... tech-trance/tech-dance style, not brilliant but it's nice to dance with. Nice "6 hours" production btw.

Any info?

Thanks people ;)

He's having another baby and is taking it a bit easier because of that... Apart from this he'll be doing less DJ gigs next year to be able to spend more time with his family... I'm not a globetrotting DJ and busy music producer, but I do understand him very well - my daughter's only 11 months old, but I've already missed about 3 months of her growing up because I had to travel to europe for some freelance work... And that just sucks... :( One day those little things are running around and talking and you've missed it all because of work... That's time you can never make up - with no money in the world...

I can totally relate to that. I took about 2 years out from clubbing to be a mum. Cant believe she's 3 already now.

I'm into clubbing more now than i was before my daughter came along LOL

Up!

Anyone knows smthg new about Yoji? I think this is the only site/forum where I can really get decent info.

I already saw that he has a gig with Scot at Arches on 24 february, and another one at japan in march.

Thanks for any info.

Bye ;)

yoji is still on his anual break from dj-ing
always the first month or 2 he 's taking time for himself..no gigs.

Ive been told that yoji will only be doing huge fesivals and some club parties ...but not as many as he always did ...for the simple reason :
he's becoming a more Family man .

Hope to catch him any time soon ..its already been to long...

any more info on the gig at arches??

maybe ... but i do think that many older tunes are great today also and yojis tracks are definitely still cool today imo... but yea it's a good idea to change each dj-set with new tracks instead of the same tracks all the time... but man i do hope to hear more from that japanese dude :) "Six hours" - preview is damn nice ... can't wait to hear the fred baker remix of it ... he's the bomb!
